Keep Yourself Dry with a
Wheelchair Rain Cover

Having a wheelchair rain cover handy is a lot like carrying an umbrella when you venture outside on a cloudy day. If you are prepared, then you are hedging your bets that it won’t rain.

Yet unlike that old adage, inevitably it will happen and you are better off having protection from the rain when it does.

Sometimes referred to as a wheelchair cape or poncho, you can find a cover to accommodate your mobility needs -- whether you use a manual wheelchair, powered chair, or scooter.

Covers are made from waterproofed material and feature protected seals over the seams to keep you dry.

You can choose a size that provides full coverage for you and your chair and select a designed with no arms, arm slits or full sleeves to accommodate your needs.

Slip-on and zippered styles are available with options that include a hood, thermal lining for warmth, or even patterned fabrics.

If you have an electric wheelchair, you can even have a clear cover inset in your rain cape so you can see and easily operate your controls.
